How It Works

Step 1: Send an Invite Link

From your RentPager dashboard, click "Invite Prospect" and choose how to reach them:

SMS: Sends a text message with a personalized application link
Email: Sends a professional email invitation with your property details
Copy Link: Generate a shareable link for listing sites, social media, or anywhere else

That's it. One click, and your prospect has everything they need to apply.

Step 2: Prospects Complete a Beautiful Application

When prospects click the link, they're greeted with a mobile-first, step-by-step application designed to be completed in under 10 minutes:

1. Personal Information - Name, date of birth, current address

2. Employment Details - Employer, job title, income verification

3. Rental History - Previous landlord references and rental amounts

4. Additional Details - Occupants, pets, move-in date, notes

5. Identity Verification - Coming soon (secure, privacy-first)

6. Completion - Confirmation and next steps

The entire experience is:

Mobile-optimized - Works perfectly on any device
Progress-saving - Prospects can start on their phone and finish on their laptop
Professional - Makes you look like a modern, tech-savvy landlord
Secure - Data encrypted and stored safely

Step 3: Track Progress in Real-Time

Back in your dashboard, you see exactly where each prospect is:

Invited - Link sent, waiting for them to start
In Progress - Actively completing their application
Ready for Review - Application complete, needs your review
Approved - You've approved them as a prospect
Rejected - Didn't meet your criteria

You can send reminder notifications to prospects who haven't completed their application, and see at a glance who needs attention.

Step 4: Review and Decide

When an application is complete, review all the details in one place:

Personal information with contact details
Employment and income verification
Rental history with landlord references
Any additional notes or special requests

Then make your decision:

Approve - Move them to your prospect bucket for next steps
Reject - Add private notes for your records (they're not shared)

We take PII (Personally Identifiable Information) seriously:

No SSN collection - We don't ask for or store Social Security Numbers
