  • Provide and maintain the RentPager service

  • Send you alerts about payment status
  • Improve and optimize our service

3. Bank Account Data & Secure Data Aggregation

We take your financial privacy seriously. Here's exactly what we do with your bank account data:

What We DO:

  • Check if expected rent payments have been received
  • Verify transaction amounts match expected rent amounts
  • Alert you when payments are received or missing

What We DON'T DO:

  • Access or review any other transactions or financial data
  • Store your banking credentials (handled securely by our data aggregator)
  • Move, transfer, or withdraw funds from your account
  • Share your financial data with third parties
  • Use your data for any purpose other than rent payment verification

That's not our business. We only care about helping you track rent payments - nothing more.

4. SMS Communications

By using RentPager, you consent to receive SMS messages including:

  • Automated rent reminders sent to your renters
  • Payment alerts and notifications sent to you
  • Service-related updates and account notifications

Message and data rates may apply. You can opt-out of non-essential messages at any time.

11. AI Services Data Processing (Abby AI)

When you use Abby AI, our AI-powered property management assistant, your data is processed as follows:

  • Your text prompts and questions to Abby AI
  • AI-generated responses
  • Conversation history within each chat session
  • Contextual data from your account (property names, tenant details, payment status) to personalize responses
  • Usage metadata (timestamps, request counts, session duration)

How AI Data is Shared

  • Third-party AI providers: Your prompts are transmitted to AI model providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) through Vercel AI Gateway for processing
  • Provider data practices: Each AI provider has their own data retention and usage policies. While many providers have enterprise agreements that limit data training, we cannot guarantee how your data may be used by underlying model providers
  • Service improvement: Anonymized and aggregated usage data may be used to improve RentPager services
  • No sale of data: We do not sell your AI conversation data to third parties

AI Data Retention

  • Conversation history is stored for up to 90 days to provide context for follow-up questions
  • Usage analytics (request counts, not content) are retained for billing and abuse prevention purposes
  • Third-party AI providers may retain data according to their own policies (typically 30-90 days)
  • You may delete your conversation history at any time through your Abby AI settings

Your Choices

  • Opt-out: You may choose not to use Abby AI features. This does not affect your ability to use other RentPager features
  • Minimize data: Avoid including sensitive personal information (SSNs, passwords, etc.) in your AI conversations
  • Delete history: You can delete your AI conversation history at any time
  • Data export: Request an export of your AI conversation data via privacy@rentpager.com
