Today marks a milestone in RentPager's journey. After months of development and feedback from hundreds of landlords, we're thrilled to announce RentPager V2 — the most significant update we've ever released.

V2 isn't just an incremental improvement. It's a complete reimagining of what property management software can do for independent landlords. We've added identity verification to protect you from fraud, an AI assistant named Abby to help with everyday decisions, and a full financial suite to track your portfolio's performance.

Identity Verification: Know Who You're Renting To

Fraud in the rental market is on the rise. Fake IDs, stolen identities, and professional scammers target landlords every day. Until now, verifying a prospect's identity meant expensive background check services or trusting your gut.

RentPager V2 changes that.

When you create a prospect link, you can now require identity verification. Here's how it works:

1. The prospect receives your link via SMS or email

2. They upload their government-issued ID — driver's license, passport, or ID card (front and back)

3. They take a live selfie to prove they're the person on the ID

4. Our system verifies everything — document authenticity, facial match, and data extraction

You get a clear verification status: Verified, Pending, or Failed. For verified prospects, you can view their ID documents securely in your Tenant Screening dashboard. All images are encrypted and stored privately — only you can access them.

Pricing That Makes Sense

We believe identity verification should be accessible to all landlords, not just those with enterprise budgets:

But Abby does more than answer questions. With Abby AI Tasks, you can assign real work to her and she'll handle it for you:

Listing Generation

Select a property and choose your target platforms — Zillow, Redfin, Realtor.com, Apartments.com, Craigslist, or Facebook Marketplace. Abby generates optimized listing descriptions tailored to each platform's style and audience. Review, edit, and copy with one click. No more staring at a blank screen trying to write compelling property descriptions.

Prospect Management

Assign a prospect to Abby and she takes over the relationship. She sends the initial outreach via SMS and email, answers their questions using your property's details (pet policies, amenities, lease terms), and follows up automatically on Day 2, 4, and 7 if they haven't responded.

When a prospect asks something Abby can't answer, she creates a group text with you and the prospect, summarizes the context, and hands off the conversation smoothly. You stay informed without doing the legwork.

2. Click "New Task" and choose Listing Generation or Prospect Management

3. Select your property or prospect and any preferences

4. Abby handles the rest — you can monitor progress in the task thread
