October 2025 Feature Update: Vendor Management, Document Hub & More

We've been hard at work this October, and we're excited to share some major updates that make RentPager even more powerful for landlords and property managers.

Vendor & Contractor Management

Managing maintenance just got easier. You can now create and track vendors/contractors directly in RentPager. Store contact information, specialties, and link them to maintenance tickets. We've also added comprehensive analytics including:

Monthly repair cost tracking with bar graphs
Properties with the most repairs
Renters with the most maintenance requests
Most expensive tickets in backlog view
Vendor payout tracking

All analytics are filterable by date range and specific properties, giving you complete visibility into your maintenance operations.

Enhanced Document Hub

We've completely redesigned the document system into a comprehensive Document Hub with three visibility levels:

Property-shared documents: Visible to all tenants of a property
Renter-specific documents: Private documents for individual tenants
Landlord-private documents: Your private files, bids, and receipts

Each landlord gets 250MB of secure storage with automatic usage tracking. You can also upload PDF templates and edit them directly in the portal before sharing with tenants.

Multi-Currency Support

RentPager now supports properties in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. When linking renters to properties, you can select the appropriate currency (USD, CAD, or GBP), and all rent amounts will display with the correct currency symbol throughout the system.

Phone number inputs now automatically format based on the selected country, making it easier to manage international properties.

GDPR Compliance

For our European users, we've implemented full GDPR compliance including:

Cookie consent management
Data export functionality
Account deletion with complete data removal
Updated privacy policy with UK GDPR requirements
User data management dashboard

Maintenance Enhancements

The maintenance board now includes:

Filtering by property or specific renter
Commenting system with @mentions for better communication
Private expense tracking for landlords
Upload bids and repair receipts
Track repair costs per ticket

What's Next

We're continuing to build out RentPager with more features on the roadmap including payment verification, financial analytics, and smart integrations with accounting software.
